This is the legendary TRUST SPORTS MUFFLER SERIES slap. Sure, it’s got a little bit of that authentic vintage "patina" (yeah, it's slightly dirty ), but the adhesive is still alive and it’s totally usable!
Let me take you back to the golden era of 1990... Back then, if you were building an AE86 Hachi-Roku, the holy trinity for aftermarket exhausts was pretty much HKS, TRUST, and Fujitsubo. But let’s be real here—out of the big three, TRUST was definitely the most budget-friendly option!
In those days, pretty much all exhausts were made of mild steel. Give it a year of hard driving, and it would either blow its packing, rust to dust, or get ripped right off the chassis on a rough touge run.
So, if you were a dead-broke Hashiriya (street racer) spending every last yen on tires and gas, you inevitably ended up running a TRUST system. It was basically a rite of passage for broke bois! (lol)
But honestly... the lifespan of the steel muffler didn't even matter. Because in my case, my cars didn't even survive a full year before getting completely wrecked anyway! (lmao)
